If you are planning on making a lot of power, just go with pistons and rods! But if you are planning on running pump gas and low boost, the stock motor will be fine up to 500whp. Sounds like your going to loose a little spool with the 35r!!

Rods, pistons, head studs, springs, retainers to start... If you are pulling the motor out, remove the balance shaft, polish the crank, and a kevlar timing belt.

stock block is fine like MAP said. Do you have injectors, head studs? you will need them for that kit. heck head studs should be done anyways. but rods and pistons would hold you over fine.

you will probably need bigger than 780's for a 35r. but im not 100% certain about that. someone might want to chime in about the injectors.

If he stays on pump, then 780's will be fine. But if he runs more boost it could get close on the idc's!!

Depending on boost, get a better head gasket too.

I run an oem HG.

We've had a few stock block evo's w/ 35r's and CA 91 pump and race gas of different kinds.

On our MD right about 475-500 is the max for a single pump and 1000's on race gas.

Hoep that helps.....once in this range of hp you're right at the max for the rods and their fasteners........and it's a crap-shoot as to how long it will last.
