I would not use it. Typically, people use Redline MT-90 and Heavyduty Shockproof in the tranny, not the 75w-90. I accidentally poured a quart of 75w-90 in the tranny (was using it for the rear diff), and after a few thousand miles, it felt like crap. Put in a mix of MT90 and heavy shockproof, and all was well again.

Is this for an MR or GSR ?? If it's for a GSR don't use it in your tranny, you can use that oil in your rear diff. You need GL-4 for the tranny, that oil is GL-5.
If you have an MR...not sure what oil they use.

Im not going to lie to you but the amsoil 75w-90 felt great. So far i have used royal purple (sucked) its good for about 2000miles then it felt crappy. Valvoline synpower tranny fluid(sucks but i needed some bad and this all NAPA crappa had)

I say stick w/ mitsu recommended 75w-90
or try amsoil 75w-90 (so far so good)
