need help: greddy profec B spec-2

so here is whats going on i am currently running a external Tial waste gate and i have the lower nipple from the waste gate "T" into the compressor off the the turbo then ran to the greddy boost unit (NC) port. I also have the upper nipple from the waste gate running to the greddy boost unit (COM) port.

now while trying to set my boost level on the EBC i first started at 10% my boost gauge showed me at 25psi. so i decided to up the boost more i turned the EBC up to 15% then my boost gauge read approx. 20psi. well now seeing this i turned the boost level down to 8% and the gauge read 27psi.

so this should be the other way around right? the higher the percentage the higher the boost should be. So does anyone have any ideas to whats going on? Or anyway other ways to hookup the boost ports on the valve?

let me know what u think please........ thank you

So i spoke to a GREDDY tech. thanks to him we were able to figure out the problem. If you are looking at using this EBC with and external waste gate here is how it should be installed. First off im using this with a external Tial waste gate. Top nipple off of the wast gate will be ran to the (COM) port on the solenoid. The lower nipple off of the waste gate will be first "T" into the the compressor housing of the turbo and then ran to the (NC) port of the solenoid. This leaving (NO) port open to vent. The rest of the install includes "T" into the fuel pressure regulator line and running that same hose through the fire wall to the controller inside the cab, then running the harness from the BOOST solenoid through the firewall to the controller in the cab as well. With this all done all is left is the ground and power for the control unit.

Try it without using the nipple on top of the wastegate. I always just used the lower wastegate nipple and a boost source. That's it.

The one off the lower goes into the wastegate fitting on the solenoid, and the one off the compressor housing goes to the turbo fitting on the solenoid... no more "T"

You might attempt to swap the fittings. The vacuum lines that is on com and the one that is at nc. Did you remove the cap blocking the third hole? I have not installed one in a while. But the first time I let someone else do mine and they accidentally swapped those two and my boost would jump up and down. 15-20-15-20. It was very annoying.
