LOL get that holset talk out of here. I believe everyone was "trying" to talk about the HTA86, 6262 and the regular 3582.
The 62/62 has gone 8s as well as the 67/65 in EVOs.... both being PTE turbos. Very impressive considering these are t3 turbos and VERY impressive from the 62/62 as its a very street friendly turbo... I have one on my car and like it a lot so far. Nice gains from my 3582 with hardly anymore lag... maybe 200-300RPM.
I would like to see some direct results from the HTA86 and the 6262 back to back. Unbiased testing would be nice So.....AWDMotorsports what do you think about these 2 turbos put up against eachother? I know you all run the PTE turbos and went 8s with the 6262... Have u tried the HTA86??

I would love to see a Holset stand up to serious abuse. Once they prove to work great with outlaw racing, sled pulling, anything like that, I will believe they are good.
Mike isnt just biased because he sells one brand versus another. Im a fan of BW turbos and Ive used them a bunch, but I have friends who have them on drag cars and tear them apart at high boost. Overall, they are great turbos. Borg Warner has very good compressor designs that make serious power, but the 270 degree thrust bearings just cant take abuse like a ball bearing turbo(even the 360 bearings arent enough). Hell, Ive destroyed a few journal bearing Precision turbos.
