people with big turbos please HELP!!
ok...so heres the problem i just installed a agency power 35r kit...and my car is smoking blue... so i called up AGP, and spoke to one of the guys there and he asked how i had my oil lines hooked up. so i told him "well the oil line coming from the head is by the block and the return oil line that goes to the oil pan is pointing towards the radiator with a 90 degree angle line pointing down....so he said thats the problem...since the turbo is BB theirs no pressure of oil to push it down fast enough so all the oil is staying in the turbo.... can this be a possibility???
so i pulled the turbo off and it was full of oil on the hotside.....
theirs is no shaft play and the turbo is fairly new... and the turbo does have the restrictor line in it...
please let me know what you guys think
PROBLEM FIXED... HERE ARE SOME PICS

a proper return line is needed so the oil doesnt blow past the seals.
Not sure why you would have a 90* bend in your return line, but that is deff a problem.
I would fix it sooner then later. Your prob will go away once that is fixed if it hasnt been ran like that for too long.

I had a 90* fitting in my oil return when I had a k series 4088r setup. Show some pictures of the return line. And what size is the oil return. And also as bad as you dont want it to be, if the turbo's used, whoever sold it to you might have sold you a turbo with bad seals.
What size restrictor are you running as well as feed line.

a 90 might be able to be done in some cases, but its never a smart thing to do IMO.
Maybe a 90 at the pan can work though, but not in the line
I always used 45's for my pans if i can remember that far back and just made a nice unrestricted flow from the turbo to the pan

These damn BB turbos need close attention when it comes to oiling. Limited pressure feeds (40 psi max)... with BSE kit installed some will need to run a restrictor even when supplying from the head. Drains need to be very high flowing... -10AN in most cases, as straight as possible and have the assistance of gravity.
