Thoughts on AMS vs. ETS IC cores

Thoughts on AMS vs. ETS IC cores
Just curious what people think about these two cores? do they utilize the same core?
I see plenty of AMS ones for sale and rarely an ETS one for sale, so this has me thinking (meaning more for sale used as in they swapped for some reason)
Im looking to upgrade my 4" Ebay core that came with the car to something more efficient then this likely is.
I was thinking of the Garret core'd IC's but dont wanna run a diff licp for the Buschur and not sure I wanna shell out $895 or so for the CBRD at this point in time.
Any suggestions on these two core comparisons?

I think you see much more of the AMS intercoolers because they have been out much longer for the most part, there are plenty of AMS knock off intercoolers also out there that people have purchased.
I had their intercooler on for 3.5 years running at 500 whp and never had one ounce of trouble. Personal taste, both make great products, the AMS products hit home with me just because the quality in every product they make is incredible.
Very much going to be a personal opinion....
You can search for the INTERCOOLER TEST that was made and see some opinions on it

well i found that jacked up IC test if its the long 20+ page drawn out of no info and its worthless for what I see.
Just shows flow rates as far as i can see.
Im more interested in the cooling ability between the cores to be honest.

gonna be a DD that sees track use from time to time.
As mentioned I already have a 4" Ebay core that I believe is probably not the most efficient thing for my setup. Im running a Green and prob running it hard at times and wanna run it harder so that = lots of hot air.
Also I see 90's+ all summer with high humidity.
Underhood temps are retarded IMO too, but I have no conclusive data to be honest. I want something efficient to utilize my current setup as I dont plan (atleast at this point) to further upgrade the turbo

well I talked to someone at ETS and they were far more helpful with providing data
He said their cores are made by them/for them type deal. not a name brand core.
I asked about the possibility of using the Garret core and he said they can, but have seen engine coolant/overheating issues with them, so suggested their core for a more DD type car.
Said they logged some significant differences in the BMW testings from their stock IC, but didnt really have numbers for the Evo testing.
Now Im curious to see if anyone actually ran some back to back testing with AMS cores and ETS cores and possibly the Ebay core. Everyone states the ebay one heatsoaks, but no one has showed hard data yet.
Theoretically I can see why it would heatsoak due to no real internal fins, heance why it flows sooo well, but would like numbers.
Everything is soo wishy washy on this site sometimes so im trying to decide if Im gonna make a worth wild upgrade to my setup

If you have any other questions, let us know!
You will get similar performance results from all of the reputable brand intercoolers, so build quality, fitment, price and service are IMO the biggest factors to consider. We feel we are at the top of the market in each of those categories and I welcome the opportunity to prove it!
Thanks for your time!
