Yes, the oiling holes are a far better design on the K1 crank, it's also much lighter and just as strong, if not stronger than the stock EVO crank... If you have the money its something you should certainly consider.
IMO, the 1/4 mile and road racing are too completely different animals - just because something worked on a 1000hp dyno pull or a 1/4 run doesn't mean it would last a single 20 minute session on a roadcourse...

Greg at GSC expressed concern about straight shot oil drilling...and IF I'm not mistaken K1 has straight shot drilling to the mains. Greg is a guy that definitley knows about the road course and high RPMs. This concern was about oiling at high RPMs and the oil's behavior in the straight bores at high RPMs, whereas the offset drillings in the Mitsubishi crank are not subjected to this?
