^ hey, nice to hear from you..
That sucker (turbo) performs well but the thing is need to upgrade head and intake manifold.

I been driving 40miles now without problem, idle unchange.
i plan to keep it off for good unless some1 here convince me otherwise.

cool man

I actually tried to drive the car a bit with it off when it happened, but the AF ratio was all over the place. So I did not want to chance it.

I'm so missing all that power from that turbo. Rolling with the stock turbo for now..lol
It freaking dies after 5K rpm with the 2.3... hehe It's fun down low though

jeez, good thing your TB stopped it

Probably in your best interest to get another, of course you know its to direct the flow over the MAF, or the reading can get crazy

I think u will be fine driving without the honey comb, all what it does; is it straightens the air going into the turbo ( laminar flow).

I actualy use honeycomb at work but on a larger scale, and the only purpose we use it for is to convert a gas flow from turbulent to laminar.
also, think of the guys that run the forward facing turbo setups, i don't remember seeing them using it.

I have driven cars with AFC which monitors live karmann count. the karmann count goes nuts with taking even just half the combs out. A/F going all over the place is exactly what does happen when combs is removed. The people who drive with out them and dont notice any issue are either not very observant , not running wideband, or are running a wide band that doesnt update fast enough to see it.

Exactly what I saw when logging the zeitronix. A/F ratio not where it should be relative to throttle input weather it be in or out of boost.

I would not take the car WOT way to risky, or boost at all for that matter.
