I was looking at this today and was thinking of switching my MAF sensor out. Looked more durable. Thought it might help you. Its a GM MAF Sensor and a MAF translator, gonna need both of them. Don't know if you gonna need a tune for it. Maybe someone can put an input on it if any of ya'll have it.

anwyays, either way, i think the op would be fine for the time being, but if u ask me, i would do what some of the guys were suggesting to epoxy it or something.

My car runs fine without it like I said earlier. I have a wideband, am very observent, and it is solid. I think you guys should really be giving advice and your experience. Not false facts to how every car is going to run. Like saying that it MAY have a problem. All cars are different and mine is very very solid without the honeycomb! Also, trust me, my car has been logged and revised more over the past few years than most people could every imagine. I will not allow my car to do ANYTHING poorly or weird. I would never reccomend anyone to take it out, that was a risk I did with my own car, but in your case, why spend money to put it back in if not needed?
