After talking with Johnny about my boost spike/weirdness, it becomes apparent I need to revise how its working. Hopefully the quick spike where its not really controlling will go away so when I say 30psi its really 30psi and not 33 with a quick 35psi spike (.05 sec) back to 33 and tapering to 30.
Power has moved to 7900 with some MIVEC changes now that I am really trying to work the cams and not just test the differences between them and the standard S2s. I am running almost no advance out the top and it really seems to be liking it. For whatever reason I didnt check the box for MIVEC when I dyno'd on wednesday so I cant really compare. Today was warmer but the car (in looking at it now) really seems to be making about the same power per pound.

^I thought you were going to wait to post the graph?
It was great seeing/hearing the car in action, buddy! That is one beastly machine! You could have probably charged $20 for hwy167 loop rides (one exit to the next) and paid Billy, and taken home some for yourself!
Always good to see you, Luke, and even Billy, and I think this is my strongest tune yet!

yeah, they hit a bit of a dry spot today (damn flakers) and I figured the old clutch could have slipped or the turbo might have left something out on the table, due to stuff going on. Pulled strong without knock on a warm day! I updated the dyno thread with the graph.

So tonight I fixed the way I had the boost controller routed and got rid of the spike. While its fun to have the extra torque it didnt give me the fresh feeling about trying to push the car on E85 (gas too for that matter) since it had to overshoot the target if even for just a little bit.
I can still always turn it up to 26 on pump and see what its all about I suppose
Thanks to Johnny TSI for setting me straight on the control plumbing and getting rid of the issue.
