Currently stock with the dwell settings cranked WAY up. Tight gap and good timing were helping but I dont think I could have gone past this safely. The other effect is stock coils dont promote very good plug life on E85.
Like I said I'll be getting another one, I just needed to pay for the race tranny in my turbo quad.

Went back to the dyno on kill and didnt make 800 But the car did make a little bit of power -
ER LR2.4 9:1 compression
Jeff Bush ported IX head
Magnus cast intake manifold
GSC 156mm rods
GSC 12mm camshafts
ETS 4" intercooler
ETS 3.5" exhaust
ETS 3586 single scroll kit with .82 A/r
FIC 2150cc injectors
E85 from the pump, not mixed
SD with Omnipower 4 bar
Power Enterprise 1.2mm HG
It picked up about 1hp from 37psi to 38psi so I am either up against the .82 housing, the 38mm gate, or both. First high boost pull after getting the tune checked out (I normally always make one or 2 low boost pulls) blew a pipe off. After dicking around with that and getting to pull the bumper I got back on it and made 3 pulls right at 792-793. There is simply nothing more left in this turbo on this particular combo. I put all the timing the car would want right up to MBT and so I can say this is MAXED for what I have. I really had been looking forward to breaking into the 800s on the stock ECU, but I'll take this...for now

There is a 797 that I think is the 2G from STM, 804 from FastFreddy302, Curt Brown I think has made low 8's, Most Wanted made 804, and one car that is slipping my mind. I know that the power Curt makes on E85 would seem to mean higher than 9:1 compression and maybe some other tricks like an electric waterpump (similar for Most Wanted). I think one or 2 of the listed cars has a 1.06 T3 single scroll housing on it as well. They are drag cars where this is a fast street car, so I am content for the time being.
Factor in the Buschur cars making low to mid 7s on DB's dyno and there are few more 800whp DJ cars. Its not easy to be sure and I know that I am near the end of the rope but I bet there is one or two tricks left to try.

Why would wastegate size restrict your maximum power output? Are you suggesting that with bigger wastegate you could get more power? Is there any data that it happens?

Congrats on the new numbers i also agree that a COP would probably help you out. Not sure if you would need a CDI though the non-CDI seems to be working just well for the HTA86 builds.

There are 5 people that have made more power than me with a 4G63 and this turbo that I know of.

I believe Emery from STM just put down 78x on their MD
His set-up may be drastically different from those posted above but just food for thought

COP isnt going to give me power. It will allow me to have better pluglife and cure misfires if there were any at this time. I will say its perilously close to that point I am sure. The Non-CDi has already been tested to 920whp at 40psi on our Drag car so I know it will work out to that point. I have had one on the car but sold it because of some bills. Like I said it will get another one for the added safety.
6765s have been seen to make 900+whp at really high boost and high 800s at normal high boost (low 40s). I believe Mike made 885 at 41psi or something around there. Using the normal Mustang-Dynojet difference (DB and I keep close tabs on each other as it varies from 13-15%) that would put Em somewhere between 881-897whp on our dyno assuming similar weather at the time.
Thanks guys
Aaron
