Erratic idle after Sparktech non-Cdi COP install..WHY? Need suggestions..
I just installed the sparktech non-cdi cop system. But when the car is warmed up, the idle becomes erratic. It seems like the car wants to catch the rpm, but can't, it shoots up and down. The AFR also moves around 12.0 to 15.6. But when I install the OEM ignition this goes away, the idle is rock solid and AFR is 14.6-14.7 constant.
I can't figure out what can be the problem. I tried resetting fuel trims, i.e. disconnecting battery, but no effect. Also uninstalled/ reinstalled so that I can rule out installation problem. Otherwise the ignition is fine, i.e. at high RPM high boost situations.
Any input appreciated.

I know SparkTech will stand behind their product. Craig seems a pretty standup person.

Here is his update https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/se...ce-review.html
It truly is sad that threads like this get lost but BAD reviews are at the top and get all the attention. One of the reasons I like to post in positive threads myself.

Cool - nice of you to send him a new one. You can really only blame the OP for not updating his original thread I guess. I found this though via Google lol. And for myself, being a consumer, I always research what kinds of issues products have before purchasing them (along with researching the good).
