Exedy Twin Metallic HD vs Exedy Triple Metallic
I am in the market for a new clutch. I am currently running the Exedy Twin Metallic HD and was thinking of upgrading to a TRIPLE disk.
So i wanna know is
Pressure Plate Difference in feel?
How much Power are u making? and which clutch you are using?
How many miles do u have on your clutch?
Problems?
Thanks

Just curious but is there a reason your wanting to stay with exedy? Why don't you switch to a different company that holds more torque capacity that's a twin disk?
Or is there a certain torque rating that most switch to triple disks?

If you plan on running low 11's our better, do your self a favor and get the triple. It is just as streetable as the twin and will hold a lot more torque.
On anything larger then a stock turbo I pretty much recommend the triple. As far as the push style TOB goes, I don't think it is needed. We used to pull clips out all the time and now there is a fix for that. last year we did not pop a clip once.

^ thank you. My concern between the twin and triple disc is pretty much solved. OP go with triple disk. Don't worry about being streetable, you gotta sacrifice something for more. ;-)
About how long to triple discs last, let's say with normal eveyday driving with maybe twice a month or so at the track?

We have the fix being released this week. We used a stop similar to the TT fork stop all last year with no issues. Before this I was popping out the clip every time we hit the track so I am confident we have found the issue and solution. I can post pics of the rapid prototype in a few minutes. If anyone is interested in ordering one they will be 75.00 shipped or we can offer them in a package deal with a clutch.

I found the triple to be more easy to drive than my twin when I upgraded.
Isn't it true that the more surface area you have the easier it is to slip? So all things being equal a twin will be easier to slip than a single, and a triple easier to slip than a twin.
