It is definitely good to see some concrete information about this turbo. Thanks for sharing the results and the details.

Any graphs for the comparison of the boost curves?

Wow thats pretty impressive...spools like a 30r but almost make the power of a 35r. Curious to see what the pictures look like of it. Have you noted any compressor surge in the higher gears such as 4th or 5th.

Good information.

Looks like FP came up with another good combo.

Thanks for testing this Dave.

I went back to the dyno to pull the dyno sheets. I was not logging boost on the dyno because of the AEM. I didn't even think about it. When I use the AEM since it has boost/wideband I don't bother with it on the dyno too.

Some good info in this thread. Im still going to wait and see what kind of power it makes on a normal, 2.0 stock block, stock head I/E/Cams car.

This turbo appears to me to be good enough to autocross, 20 psi of boost at 3800 rpm is pretty low in the RPM range. I'd say this turbo looks to be the best all around turbo there is, autocross, road course, drag, whatever.

The turbo comes with the HD actuator and the oil line kit. That is not the i/c pipe kit.

esp if the price is right

Dave do you have the data from the dyno to 8-9k RPMS? I'm curious how the boost/power is at 8K +

I only ask because the dyno sheet stops at 7300. Thank you DB for the great comparison. props.

Might you know the inducer/exducer size of the Red versus the Black for the turbine wheel?

Interesting dyno results Mr. Buschur. Thanks for posting them! But it still takes 41.4 psi and E85 to make that 537whp on a fully built Evo? Most of us here would much rather see a pump gas tune with around 30 to 35 psi instead. But maybe thats in a perfect world so to speak.

Dave if you are saying this turbo appears to be good all the way around then it would be a no brainer to d othis turbo as a precursor of things you may do in the future.
