crankwalk
i was wondering if anyone has had any crankwalk issues in there evo? maybe i am being paranoid but i recently noticed a slight ticking coming from the pulley side of my motor. it seems like it comes and goes at idle but it definately ticks when the clutch is engaged. could it be something else since i just rebuilt my engine?

any idea what the ticking could be? i have done some research and besides the ticking i don't really have any other symptoms. hell, everthing in the engine is new.

What kind of clutch do you have in your evo? A very strong pressure plate can cause too much pressure on the bearing and give you crank walk. Had A guy over here in the quad-cities of illinois get crank walk in his yellow evo.

if you have the heavyduty pressure plate from act you should be ok, but the extreme plate they carry might be too much for your car if its only slightly modded and you have less then 400hp.
