I forget, does the HFC go over the cat-back or does it go into the cat-back.

It has to go over the catback.

Do you think a standard 3 inch test-pipe will fit over the cat-back section? And if not can I simply cut and weld on a slightly bigger diameter pipe for the last few inches?

Click on the link in my previous thread.

All i did was buy a 3" inlet muffler. I welded a 2 bolt flange one one side that bolted to my downpipe and left the other end a lone. The 3" inlet slipped nice and snug over the buschur piping. So to answer your question yes a 3" testpipe will slip over the cat-back section as long as that 3" part is the inlet diameter.

At this point, the best thing to do is go to a muffler shop and have them add in a section with an expanded slip fit section. Most muffler shops can expand the pipe to fit into the slip.

Thanks,

Michael
