Question MR (6spd) transmission drain plug magnet?

I am just changing my tranny fluid, and noticed on the transmission drain plug there's no magnet like on the transfer case or the rear diff plugs. The drain plug has about 1/4" deep hole- where a magnet could be placed but I didn't find any magnet.
Does this 6spd transmission drain plug supposed to have a magnet or no.
I hope it's not somewhere inside the transmission.
I searched, couldnt find anything on this, so I need to know before i put the fluid back in. Thanks.

Mine had a magnet in it. Check with the dealership to see if they can get you a new one, or mitsubishiparts.net. Also, see if you can reach it with one of those bendy telescoping magnet thingies; I can't imagine it went far.

Bringing this back, did you find the magnet in the trans? Or did it simply not come with one? I dont have a magnet on my fill or drain on my 06 6 speed. Was wondering if it was in there.. but not sire it is.
