MR Turbo

Got a really good deal ($150) from a local guy for a evo9 MR turbo, I def think this is worth buying it, no shaft play, nothing wrong with it, so is the MR turbo9 just as capabile as the regular evo9, plus i have read some threads where supposedly there is some evo9 turbos with weak compressor blades, is this true?

IIRC, that was a JDM market turbo with a magnesium compressor.

I read they were magnesium. I can't imagine that a titanium aluminide would hold up on the turbine side but come apart on the compressor side.
