Well, I am scheduled to be tuned on Saturday. However, not sure I want to keep the journal bearing Black on my car.
I might just have to man up and fork the cash over to FP for an upgrade or go with a different turbo. A 1,000$ is a lot for a 2,000$ turbo that I already bought. I really don't want to do either as I JUST FINISHED setting up the car.
I'm kind of bummed out right now...Thoughts anyone?

Talked to Robert for 45 minutes about this. Explained everything I've ever done to the car, he went through some very technical details with me. He made a good point, he said, 'so you have a 2009 corvette and you want to upgrade it to a 2011 corvette, but don't want to spend a lot of money', all I could do was laugh and say yeah I see your point.
Long story short, I might get this upgrade done before I get tuned. They should have final pricing soon.
I'm going to think about this today and make my decision tonight. Once my car is done, I don't want to think (or touch) this thing again for at least 3 years.

She'll be on your dyno soon
Haha, true, but it does make sense. He's a good man
I'm waiting for this hurricane to pass so I can pull out the turbo and get ready for the BB

Took the Evo out tonight for the last time with the journal bearing FP Black
Turbo MIGHT come out tomorrow, but definitely by next week.
I will say my favorite upgrade so far with this build has been the new front sway bar and new end-links. I thought the handling was good before, it's even better. Much less play and the car is beginning to handle like its on rails When you turn the wheel, it responds instantly.
May do coil-overs during the winter. Any advice on a new suspension setup to handle the new power? I drive mostly on the streets, and try to make it to drag strip twice a month (when the cars running that is).
I'll have more updates, pictures and video soon.
