Same here! Let's see if I can drive it to it's potential, I might need some more practice...
How awesome would that be? Just need to take a deep breath and hold on!
I'd totally come to your dyno day on Saturday, but I'm spending the weekend with the GF. Besides, I only want to come down when I have a sure shot of winning

Well, the Evo wouldn't start last night or this morning. I tried a bunch of different things. I think its a combination of using a small battery, it being cooler outside and the engine having lower compression on an ice cold block. It fired up the night before no problems at all. I let it idle for ~15 minutes, turned it off, went back out last night and it wouldn't start..
I'm going to leave work early so I can go troubleshoot the issue and hopefully get up to the drag strip tonight.
Wish me luck...

Cars fixed!
It was a blown fuse on the ignition circuit!
HUGE thanks to Jamie for coming up to MY house. He went above and beyond. He fixed my cold start issue, the cars 100% Jamie, thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
If anyone has any hestiations about going to Dynotech Tuning, don't. They are a top notch shop.
Heading up to the dragway now

Yeah I bought one just to have it. Even though that wasn't the issue, the smaller battery definitely needs some help to keep the charge up it seems.
Just like Jamie said, it was the Spark Tech ignition that blew the fuse. It makes sense I guess, you are running 4 coils as opposed to two. Stock the fuse is 10 amps, all I had for now was a 20 amp fuse. I am going to buy a few spare 15 amp fuses and use them.
On the way to work yesterday I was thinking about why the car wouldn't start and I recently read a thread where people were using the Spoolin Up COP and blowing fuses. Seems this is a known issue now, at least it has an easy fix.
I only got 1 pass in because older muscle cars at the track kept breaking and spewing anti-freeze all over the track. I hope to go back on Wednesday as long as the weather is nice.
My first and only pass was an 11.851 @ 121.9 with a 1.9 60'. Obviously, I have lots of room for improvement. I was hoping to get some more seat time, but that didn't happen. This was my first launch where traction was actually an issue. Jamie gave me some pointers and the next time I go to the track, I will definitely try them and report back.
I do have a G-Tech and may have to use that when the track closes to get some practice with my launches.
Anyways, here's to hoping it doesn't rain Wednesday
