Anybody Have Experience with Both GREDDY Ti-C and Ti Exhausts?

Currently I have a Greddy Full Titanium exhaust on my IX. Along with test pipe and downpipe off an AMS turbo kit.

Now although I love my setup, it's getting a little too loud for me. The full titanium exhaust is stupid loud.

I'm thinking of switching to the Greddy TI-C exhaust, since it's stainless steel and I believe it has a resonator in it.

I want the TI-C because it still has the angled canister with the titanium tip, which I love. I don't want to lose that, since it completes the "look" from the back of my car.

I was also looking at the HKS Carbon-Ti, but i'm just not feelin' it.

Anyways, my question is, for those who have had experience with both Greddy exhausts, is the TI-C considerably quieter compared to the Full Titanium? Is it worth switching over to?

I understand with my give setup I can't get it to be very quiet, but I think i can definitely go quieter without being obnoxious like it is now lol..

Please let me know!

i've had both and i don't think theres that big of a diference from the TI to the TI-C....
i think the main "noise" diference is only if you drive at or below 3000-4000 RPM on the highway, the TI just drones no matter what , but the TI-C dosen't drone as much (but it still drones a litle).
At idle and WOT there is NO diference AT ALL.
i also had the carbon-TI but after a while (couple months) it's just as loud as the TI-C and it hangs really low.

i feel your pain man!
it's next to imposible to find a "good looking" and quiet exhaust

I went from a Ti-C to a Ti. The Ti drones more but other than that, I remember being surprised by how little the sound changed. The Ti-C is still plenty loud.

The greddy Ti-C comp is loud as hell for me, it is getting really annoying. I am really looking for a good performance alternative that wont be unbearable on a straight pipe. I have 3 inch all the way back from the turbo, so I want something that wont bottleneck the flow, but still be driveable without making me crazy. There is an ARC for sale on here that I am thinking about, but I don't even know how thatd be with a straight pipe.

HKS Carbon-Ti solves everything...best looking exhaust hands down but wasn't loud enough for me. I couldn't bring myself to sell it so it's still in my garage.

Mitchubishi is selling a ARC ti cat-back. Has the resonator, the good look, but maybe not the price, haha.

Why don't you put a resonator where the test pipe/downpipe goes? That's what I did today and it helped somewhat with the droning sound of my Greddy TI, but it still does it. It's more mellow though. It's hard to tame the beast!
