transfer and diff oil?
so i changed my trans oil woth ams oil seemed to be good but i need a new trans (problems started before ams oil chage) so when i get the new trans in im planing on putting the ams trans oil in. but i also want to chage the transfer case and differential oil is ams oil good for this? the owners manuel says to use GL-5 sae 90 for the diff and equivalant to mitsu part #8149630 EX for the differental/rear axle. does ams carry oils for this? is there some other oil that would be better for this?
looking at the manuel it looks like the diff and rear axle are the same thing is this true or is there 4 parts i need to put oil in? (trans, transfer, diff, [and axle?])

Amsoil severe gear 75-90 for the TC and rear diff. Diaqueen is overrated. It's not even a true synthetic. Amsoil MTG GL4 for the transmission.
Most on this forum use either OEM diaqueen or amsoil severe gear in the tcase/rear diff.

Tranny.

SO TRUE !!
The pump from AMSOIL screws right on top of their wide mouth bottles as they are the same size as gallon jugs.
I have one of those pumps and what a life saver. It also comes with several length pickup tubes so it can be used like on gallon containers as well.
For under $10.00 it isn't worth not getting..

In your transfer case and rear differential the OEM DiaQueen 90W LSD fluid is the way to go. One of the biggest things is that its actually a true 90W unlike most others which only offer a 75W-90. The only other I'd consider to be a true replacement is Lubrication Engineers 607 or 1605 since both of those are highly regarded 90W LSD fluids.

You will be in good hands with a true synthetic like AMSOIL for your tranny and diffs.
you stepped up your game in power RIGHT ??? Now step up your game with the blood of your power train and power plant
Let me know if there is any specifics you need to know

I see you continue to make statements like, a true 90 is a 90, and a 75W90 is not a true 90, do you really understand what that first number means, do you really understand that this oil could be a 0W90 100W90 ( <<<those numbers where just examples) that last number is what holds the key.
Diaqueen is a pretty good oil id say if you have no intentions of taking it through its paces, its like stock pistons they have their limits, you turn up the boost and make more power you will need stronger internals eventually, same thing with the oils, you stepped up your game now you need to get oils that will wisthand the shear loads, heat cycles, compression loads that ring and gear and diffs can put on these oils and brake them down quick and cause failures.
i also like a true synthetic for my bearings, i can feel the bearings moving quicker and smoother
I must say that i trully respect your opinions and thoughts, but some of them require a lit more research, you may be still thinking in the 80's mode, NO offense please.
thanks

in the manuel it says to use hypoid gl-5 sae 90 for the t-case and for the diff to use mitsu genuene #8149630, witch i guess it the diaqueen oil, but are both of these the same oil? would i use the diaqueen for both?
