Car won't start after I stored my evo 9 for 5 days.

I can't get my evo 9 to fire up. I stored my evo in my garage and this morning, I went to start it up so I could drive it for one more time before the slow arrive and it won't fire. I got 54000miles on it. I think it is my spark plugs. Before I stored it, if fires weak. It cranked for two or three times then fire. It's all stock!

Do I need to replace my spark plugs? What else do I need to replace also? what are the best plugs?

Thanks Guys!

1) If it cranks at around 200 RPM it isn't your battery. Jump your battery and see if it helps.

2) Yes it could be your spark plugs but most likely not. When spark plugs go bad they don't usuay die out in 4's. You would usually get a single misfire first.

3) Does the car crank? If the car cranks then you are looking at Fuel or Ignition. Test Spark and make sure car is getting fuel. If the car does not crank. Check your battery. Battery is good then check your starter relay. If the relay is good then connect jumper wires and manually make your relay come on with key on. If still no crank you have a bad starter most likely. You can try jumping the starter solenoid.

^^^fuel pump? you should never have to tap the fuel pump

if your car sat fow two months then it lost all the fuel pressure that was stored in the lines, all you had to do was keep cranking it until it built enough fuel pressure!!!!

get a digital multimeter and check the voltage. My greddy tt shows me the battery voltage, and I checked it against the multimeter. They both showed the same voltage.

I try jumping the car but can't seem it to fire. I just order so new plug though. I took the older plugs out and it was pitch black. It needed to be change. I can smeel fuel on the plugs, so I am getting fuel. Didn't crank too much, don't want to flood my engine. Just have to check my relay after that.

It has nothing to do with spark plugs, if your plugs are no good, it will prevent the car from starting, you'll experience misfiring under acceleration.

He was just saying if the pump is going bad sometimes you can tap on it and it will work and start the car. Starters can do the same thing..
