AMS HTA35r Installed!
The kit took me 4-5 hours to install with basic tools but here are the pictures.
The new stuff
The old setup, HKS 3037r kit.
To compare
The new installed
As you can see my previous radiator hose is rubbing on the manifold. I dont have a solution yet except to buy ams radiator hoses. The hose is still holding pressure but I dont know how long it will last. So Im taking it easy until I order it next week.
The install was cake except I had to remove 2 manifold studs to get the manifold in place.
I forgot to tell AMS my HKS exhaust is a 2 bolt flange and I received a 3bolt downpipe flange so my exhaust didnt bolt together. I went to a local exhaust shop and they fixed it for me.
Clearance is great, I still have my AC didnt have to move any lines. Im really happy with the AMS kit.
I dont know what else to say about it, so ask away.

if you don't care about the fancy red-ness, you can get a radiator hose off of like a cavalier (take yours to approximate the bend and length, to autozone/advanced/oreilly's/etc) and cut the excess off. the upper rad hose on mine was replaced right after an AMS install with the above mentioned hose.. 70,000 miles ago? its been fine.

Looks great!
Mine was also close to the Full Race header so I used a universal stainless flex hose kit that I found cheap on ebay.

It would be nice to know what exact year and model of car if another will fit better.

Im living proof. The wastegate runner cracked on the original hks manifold, I bought a replacement, and it cracked hardcore in the center.
Nothing else is wrong with the Garret GT30r turbo, no shaft play, It has probably seen 10k miles. How much do you think I could sell the turbo for?
Stock block with HKS 280 cams and adj cam gears. I might replace rod bolts, but nothing is planned anytime soon unless my engine goes. Im running greddy 1050 injectors now and I added just a little more fuel in my tune. I havent been able to boost really because of the weather conditions. Alaska is harsh and the roads are always icy or slippery.
