Recirculating BOV help

Ive come to the conclusion that my stock BOV is leaking to all hell. I want to get a new recirculating bov that does not need any flanges or welding to my Buschur UIC. I wanna pop off the stock one from the coupler, put the new one on and be done.

Ive narrowed it down to the WORKS upgraded OEM bov (works claims it holds upwards of 30psi), Forge closed loop recirculating bov, or the Forge RS with adjustable spring rate...which makes me nervous because it seems like something that could be a pain in the bum. Im tuned at 27psi but one night I saw a spike of 29psi. I will be retuned in the spring at 32psi.

Anyone have any suggestions for me as to one of the above or a different bov I didnt mention??

Did you come to that conclusion by doing a boost leak test? Which is the only way to really know. I have a tester if you need it bud and am in the area.

You can crush the top gently on the IX and JDM valves to hold a little more boost. After that the Forge and Works units will suffice. You may get some surging with the Forge in my experience unless you can find the right spring combo.

No experience with the Works piece

Thanks dude, I do boost leak tests every 3rd day hahah its sad sorta. I carry my blt in the cup holder.

Heres the weird thing, when I do a test, the bov does not leak at all. When Im driving though, I hear this incredible surge of air and the noise continues until I close the throttle and the air gets recirculated. It starts at about 1psi and continues up to whenever I let off the throttle. I know that where my alcohol injector is tapped into also leaks, but I dont think its all coming from there.

Really? How does that work tho with the half recirc and half vent? Does it cause any problems with the tune or anything weird.

do not buy the APS twin vent. It is a good piece, but we have first hand experience of them trying to stick open on more than one car.
Forge RS all the way. This is the ONLY valve we will use on cars still re-circ with high hp/boost
PM me if you need the hookup
