English Racing tested the Magnus V5 and found it to make power, and have no negative effects on spoolup.

Buschur tested the Magnus V5, and found it to have a significantly negative impact on spoolup.

Buschur found the V5 and Driven Innovations made approximately the same peak hp gains, but the Driven Innovations had less losses down low.

Buschur produces their own intake which I believe they would assert probably makes as much or more power as the DI across the rev range.

The AMS F1 hasn't been tested against anything. You would think with all their "R&D" they might actually want to see if their intake performs better than their competitors... but I guess not. The funny thing is, I think if AMS put the F1 up against a DI for example, and lost, I think it would gain AMS more business because it would show the type of stand up outfit they are.

AMS if you read this, too much marketing, not enough heads up comparisons.

These tests really.... Sometimes I think to go and spend like 5 grand, buy 3-4 of the top manifolds and do the test on a dyno in front of people who are willing to spend a day testing!

Magnus I have seen it perform well on at least two cars that I know of. The other two are fairly new to say and usually they are installed with other mods so it is difficult to make a direct comparison.

Who's in to get a "manifold comparison test fund" and test them? LOL!

I was also surprised they didn't show any testing with the final production model before releasing them. They probably have a lot of $$ invested in that product.

I say get it on!! I would like to see the VSR thrown in the mix as well... And this time when these intakes are tested make sure there ALL at the same boost level throughout the rev range! I know the test that was done on the VSR before had 2-3psi less boost up top and Martin had to come in and make a note of that when the results were posted....

I would like to see a fair UN BIASED test for once! So same boost, same AFR same timing. And whatever it needs to make that possible or don't waste time testing. That's my 2 cents.
