I was researching various oil and wanted to see if have guys had either experience with these oils and what you thought of them.

 

No experience with castrol, but I have used mobil 1 10w30 for the last 85K and mobil 1 10W30 high mileage for the last 8k. Just took the head off and everything looked fine with no unusual wear or build up. The only thing I noticed was some slight scoring on the cylinder walls where the piston skirts hit, but that is pretty normal. Haven't pulled the oil pan to check the bottom yet, that will be next winter when I rebuild.

 

I just dropped some 10w30 Castrol edge in evo and 5w30 in my Mazda 3...
I think this is just the same as mobil 1 extended performance...
