Clutch or trans mount vibration

I just installed my Exedy twin disk (PITA) and also installed AMS trans mount bushing. I noticed that if Im at a stop and rev the engine I feel a vibration at around 2K rpm. Is this from the mount? It does it with the clutch pedal in or out. Also if im crusing in a gear with the engine speed at 2k I can slightly feel the vibration. If Im coasting and push the clutch pedal in to rev the engine I dont feel the vibration. Im hoping this is normal with this mount and its not a clutch problem. I also have AMS front mount along with the Ingalls stiffy mount. Let me know your thoughs or if you have any questions. This is why I hate to do 2 mods at once

I would do that but I destroyed the stock trans mount. I didnt feel this with the other mounts installed. Its either the clutch or the trans mount.

If the chattering noise is what you are talking about, then its perfectly normal on Exedy Multi-plate setup. Go with the BLOX front engine mount will help eliminate notchy shifter feel. BLOX mount was probably the best bang for the buck mod for EVO VIII/IX. Especially during Clutch install. Throw it right in and you will feel a big difference.

No its not a chatter its a vibration. Feels like something is out of balance. Its probably just the mount making me feel the vibration now. I will see what Ams thinks since I will be stopping by there this week.

Take off the stiffy mount and check then, then replace it with a good urethane mount on that side--that should reduce vibration even less then stock-- if its the mounts.

I removed the stiffy mount and it seems to be about the same. I will see how it is after I install the cam side AMS mount. I also noticed its a little more noticable when its cold outside like in the morning. This leads me to believe it is the mount.

Let me say this, I replaced all three mounts ( left the back one alone) with urethane. Just the frt mount had vibrations everywhere, after adding both sides in combination with the front even with a split duration 272/264 hks cams advanced at +2 ,vibration is less then stock for me.
