I think the lack response shows how much people a) Don't run these cams or b) don't run them on a street vehicle at all.

I have the Kelford 272's and I am also interested to hear but a few days up and no response.....not hopeful for results.

I didnt swirtch to a 280, but i do have a 280 in my car. one of my freinds switched. i am personally a fan with the idea behind it being quite logical... forcing more air making faster spool more power... etc. sadly i dont have any overall numbers to prove it but my buddy with the same setup as me is making431 hp and 431 fpt on a stock turbo. and it should do nothing but help more with a bigger turbo.

Is there any drivability issues? i mean what's the disadvantage...if there is one. I can only assume there is come sort of issue otherwise more people would run them.....but again i could be wrong.

ok well i have asked this question already and i only seam to get the same response. run 272's but with some research ive done and talked to many vendors the 280's are designed to show its true power on bigger turbo setups running 40 psi up till 9k.. im gonna be running the 280/272 setup.. i believe that this will help me on the top end where the turbo i will be running starts to lose its power.. im guestimating that i wil be loosing 1-300 rpm less spool time on the bottom end.. im basing this off of the cossie m3's wich has basically the same specs as the kelford 280/272's and those on a evo 9 only showed great results up top with little power loss on the bottom end.. if ur gonna run the full 280's ur gonna have to degree the cam when installing them do the the high lift??hope this helps.. turbotrix did however advise me to get the 280's cuz it wouldnt hurt.. just check ur valve clearence. doing it my way i beleive will save me some money if i ever decide to go bigger on the turbo....if i happen to do the first testing on my car i will let u know the numbers i got on my setup and we can then compare them to the 272 on a similar modded evo..

it will decrease it up untill a certain rpm due to its high lift

lets say at 3k u are at 18psi if u swtich to the 280's ull most likely hit 18 psi at 31-3200 rpm. this is just an example so u get an idea of what im talking about. each car will varry but im guestimating i will only lose 1-200 rpm of spool time. ull also probably notice a few hp/tq loss at low rpm's...
