clutch problem (help)

ok so i installed a new clutch, flywheel and clutch line today. i put everything back together and i went to bleed the clutch and the pedal would not stiffen at all no matter how many times we did it. please help i do not know what it is cause it was fine before i did the clutch. also is the fork arm supposed to be to the drivers or passengers side because mine is to the passangers and i dont see how the slave cylinder would ingage ang disgage the clutch. i just hope i dont have to take the tranny back out. thanks in advance.

you should be able to push the fork towards the drivers side of the car and feel it CLIP in. If it does not do that then the retainging clip on the pressure plate mus have fallen off during the install and the tranny will have to come back out.
