Overkill unless you plan on going E85. A pump meth car is fine upto 580ish with a single pump and 880s, That is if you are running a big meth jet like me On pump your 880s on a single will go to 520ish. If you are not going over 600 a double pumper is not needed.

I'm a little more conservative than BLKCarbonEvo. On pump, people who have tested this with a single Walbro has found that they were losing fuel pressure (insufficient pumping volume) at around 500-525 on gas. E85 is 30% more fuel need, so 30% less in terms of HP when the volume ceiling is reached.

An FP RED can exceed those HP levels, depending on tune and supporting mods. Since I see you're tuning with Sean Ivey from your sig, you could just ask him where your injector use levels are, and find out how close you are to the limits of your 880s. It's best not to push injectors more than 80% of their total capacity...

if i was running race gas and 1000cc injectors with the mod in my sig plus- ported intake manifold, 65mm Throttlebody, fuel rail, ported fp-red, would i benefit from a twin walbo fuel pump setup?

shooting for 500whp on race gas

a single walbro worked for me up to 500awhp with PTE 1000cc injectors, above that and it's time for twin pumps.

880's will be maxed before the FP is out of juice. FP red will max out fast on e85 with 880's, those are only about enough for stock turbo on e85.

^^ i wont be running e85

i might go with a meth kit to get my power goal but i dont really know how reliable it would be for the car?

it seems that it would be safer to achieve the power on race gas when i want then to run meth, rite?

i hear that the twin pumps dont run at the same time, so how does this system work? if i get a voltage drop would it help that i have the twin pumps?

if e85 is available that's your best option, cheap and extremely knock resistant

race gas also works well but it's very expensive for the good stuff like c16 or q16

meth is an alternative that works if you're okay with the risk of having a pump failure

depends on the kit, but the buschur kit uses a hobbs switch to energize the 2nd pump only after ~5psi is reached so it doesn't run at idle or cruise.

Most race tracks also stock race gasses. You can also find out where I believe on the VP fuels website.

Either way PTE 880's will not require duel pumps no matter what.
