Is the axle locking in place or easily pulls back out. The axle should be pretty easy to push in. Your problem might be a bad axle seal.

does the fluid actually pour out or just leaks? is the car drivable? if its just leaking and the car is drivable check your axle seal, thats most likely to be the problem

i can just pull it right back off the transfer case. when i put the driver side on it locked in and i couldnt pull it back off easily. when the axle is pushed all the way to the transfer case it will leak slowly and when i pull it back some it kinda pours out. and yes it is drivable.

If it's driveable with out any shakes or anything it sounds like it's all the way in. Check that axle seal.

yeh it is all the way in but i dont know why i wont lock in. also i have looked at the seal while it was leaking and the fluid was coming out of the opening where the shaft goes in not on the outer edge where it touches the transfer case.thanks

The actual "seal" the seal makes is around the cv axle shaft. It usually won't leak from where the seal touches the transfercase. It's pretty common to damage that seal when pulling and reinstalling axles. It only costs like 14 bucks from dealer. Like stated earlier if the axle was not seated all the way the leak would be a steady flow. If it's just a drip it'll be the seal.
