How much Boost

your setup with the 35R will not be a problem. the Manley Rod and Wiseco Combo is the STANDARD for that power setup. It's by far our best selling combo all over the world. I would suggest you have the rotating assembly balanced as an extra step. We can do it for you here if you don't have someone local!
thanks again for your business!

if the 700hp is the REAL goal, then we do need to step it up to the H Plus or go straight to an I beam, buddy. You just need to let me know what the real end game is here so that we can get you the right parts.

^it is not based on psi. 30psi in a stock turbo is a lot different than 30psi on a 6262. You just need to watch your hp/tq. Like I said. I would not take that rod/piston combo over 600. Best of luck.

40psi is about where the limit of the 6262 is on a 2.4, but it would be close to the limit of overspeeding. The H beams should be fine to 600whp, but I wouldnt go too much past that.
Blkcarbon, Ive seen Carillo H beams make 1700whp in 6cyl setups. Theyre probably the toughest rods on the planet for street use.

Personally I would go with a titanium rod because it is a 1/3 lighter than an aluminum rod and stronger. (meaning it is easier on the bearings and allowing you to rev higher is you have the right crank and lightweight stroker pistons) But I think those rods are over 2k. That would be perfect for a 4G64 High Compression 2.2L long rod on a 4094 and capable of revving up to 10k if needed. Just my .02
Edit* You can not compare apples and oranges with a supra on a given rod. That is not stating that the Carillo Pro-H-Beams can handle 1700, They are rated around 300-325hp per hole, so about the same as an evo have 1200hp. Damn good rods but there are better if you are looking for something better. They are pretty light however to be steel. I think they are mid-high 400grams a piece.

I think on your setup a 6262 on 30psi will be well over 600hp! Look at my setup... I'm getting a retune on my Red in two weeks and I'll be 550ish on 30psi on a stock motor. You have a built 2.4l. So if I'm able to make 550 on a Red, which is much smaller than the 6262, imagine were you will be on 30psi. Hell you may even break 600hp on pump... Your motor on that setup won't ever see the capacity of that turbo. Just food for thought.
If I were you I would upgrade to I-Beams and turn the boost up to get the turbo well into the 700hp range

To the op, if you really want the power you state my suggestion would be to do it right the first time. Pay the extra money to get the better part by upgrading to the i-beams.
Good luck.
Good luck.

well im budgeted by college costs right now so that setup is pretty much all i can afford sense i still have a long list of parts. tranny,t-case,axels,head,cams,springs and the list goes on. So im going for 600whp then maybe later sell the block and build a bullet proof block.
