Intercooler Pipe Questions before buying
#17
Hey Michael, Are these LICP aluminium or stainless steel??
What about you UICP? do they require mini battery? Im in an area that reaches 50C, what are your comments regarding that?
does it fit on CBRD's intercooler?

If you don't already have an intercooler, we can work you a nice package deal.
Thanks,
Michael

Don't do Injen, you'll be wasting your money. I bought them and installed(taking about 2 hours fighting with the crappy lower IC pipe, all was fine for a while then it started blowing the lower pipe off every damn day. To get the lower pipe on there you needed 2 people and a ton of patience to try and bend the pipe into the coupler.
I got the AMS LICP to replace it and haven't had one blow off or issue since.

Dont go with Injen, i made that mistake when i bought mine and wanted to save money. I have had so many problems with the injen pipes blowing off and have replaced the couplers and clamps with Tbolts and it still happens. i would go with some proven parts like buschur, ams, ets

I have Question, after comparing the intercooler pipes mentioned I do like the ETS ones the most. However, I noted on point, unlike the Nisei and others, yours don't have mounting brackets in the pictures. Do they come with mounting brackets like the other ones or can you add them upon request? Also, does the lower pipe fit with the stock under tray? Other than that your product looks great!
Thanks

We use stainless steel piping. This allows you to tighten the t-bolts as tight as possible without damaging the pipe. This also ensures the piping will not blow off if tightened properly.
The piping works with the stock under tray and most intercoolers on the market.
If you have any other questions, let me know.
