I HIGHLY doubt it was meth injection that caused this, but in fact LACK of a good failsafe. A good failsafe will save your engine in the event of a problem with the kit, INSTANTLY:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/wa...ther-last.html

I flipped my system OFF mid pull, 28psi on the dyno, see the above post, including wideband data. Timing drops, fuel rims come back inline, and life goes on.

So, OP, what kit did you have, and what failsafe was implemented? I've been running alky injection for almost THREE YEARS and 45,000 miles now, and I have zero holes in my block. Sorry your isht broke, but maybe it was your own fault

This is why I won't do meth.
Besides, it ruins your whole life.

enjoy some massive destruction.
Which failsafe were you running and how was it configured ? If you had used something like TTP's setup or the Tephra mod + Zeitronix and killed boost upon more than 3 counts of knock, this would most likely not have happened.....

To state that your engine destruction is a result of using Methanol injection is incorrect and spreads more misinformation.

Yes our current failsafe's are excellent with automatic boost reduction and map switching. It doesn't get much better. AFR, EGT, knocksum based failsafes are great.
