materials...the twin pumps cost me like 200$ for all the lines and fittings needed to run the fuel setup (aside from the costs of 2 pumps and a regulator)

anyone have the wiring diagram for the ignition harness/connector? or know it and can post?
if i can get the diagram, ill work on making a wiring diagram for the DIY'ers.
evos are waste spark, so there should be two ignition trigger wires (1 for cyl 1 and 4) and 1 wire for (2 and 3), and a ground. i THINK. i never looked at the evo harness indetail tho.

awdboosted, i havent tried fitting the cbr coils. have you? any issues?

Toyota connector housing- 4 pcs requred P/N 90980-11246
Toyota connector wires-8pcs required P/N 82998-12440

These parts are kinda expensive, but I am a Toyota Tech so I get them 10% over cost. I think I paid around $40. Most DSM guys just pick up the coils and pigtails at the junk yard cheap, but I wanted new parts. For the coils to fit a DSM, I had to trim the coil boots about an inch. Not sure for an Evo, but if they are too long they can be trimmed to length to fit. To make it true plug n play you would have to source a plug to connect the coils to the factory harness. Dwell has always been an issue with COP on a DSM with the stock ecu since the coils are wired in series and fired wasted spark. I just gap my plugs(BR7es) at .022 at 31psi on a SC61 revving to 8.5k and have not had any issues yet. If I do, I will just add a CDI box later. The plate I used is a custom part made and sold by a member of DSMTalk, and it won't fit an Evo valve cover.

norcalSRTrida- I have not. I think the IX head is taller and spark plugs are thinner.. I was wondering if it was too short.

did some research on CBR coils, and looks like they need a resistor-type plugs w/ removable screw-in tops...

any recommendations for that? lol

EDIT: nvm, grab ahold of some Denso irid's if going CBR coils.
