I'm no hardcore drag racer myself, but I preload the drivetrain all the time, to include spirited launches on the street. Saves the transmission and transfer cases from such an abrupt and instant torque spike - which would lead to failure of any transmission parts.
Just let out the clutch until the car just starts to want to move forward, there preloaded.
Corona it is!

Unfortunately the tuning session had to be cut short and postponed till early next week. During the first pull it was discovered that my meth fittings have finally coroded after two years of use and are now leaking under pressure. Upgraded fittings are on order and will be back on the dyno very soon. I am happy to report that we are seeing 18psi by 3400rpms though so the new exhaust setup is looking ver promising.

It was one thing after another today, but in the end, I am sure it will pay off. If you need any help getting the car to the dyno Chris, let me know. I have off until I move to Orlando to start my new jobs, which isnt for another couple weeks.

As 4g63 said it was one thing after another. First while swapping the injectors, one of the fuel rail bolts snapped like a twig well before it was even fully tightened. The intake manifold had to come off to remove the bolt. Thanks to 94awd and scotts help it was a fairly quick process. In the end though the car just did not want to get tuned yesterday.
