6 puck clutch

So I installed a 6 puck clutch, lightened flywheel, and pressure plate about 6 months ago and till this day it works very well. I was just wondering if it's normal for the engagement to only be about 2-3 inches? For example you barely have to put in the clutch for it to be fully disengaged. It's the kind of clutch where your either gonna move or your gonna stall there's no play. Should I adjust my clutch pedal? Btw the clutch brand isn't anything special just one I picked up on eBay some "f1 racing"

Most 6-puck clutches will grab a lot quicker than a full-face disc and act more like an on/off switch. If you want to change the engagement point you can adjust your clutch with the master cylinder rod under the dash.

you can adjust you engagment a little by the 12mm bolt on the rod from the master cylinder to the clutch pedal

Its normal for ACT 6 puck sprung. Adjusting the pedal won't do anything for ya as far as engagement goes.

I may suggest moving the engagement point down a hair if you only need to push the pedal down an inch or so to fully disengage it. You may not be "fully" engaging it when your foot is off the clutch.

I like it when the clutch fully disengages about 3 inches down. This way if you have 1.5 or so inches of "friction" zone you know that the last inch is where the clutch is fully engaged and not loaded at all.

When facing the fire wall screw the adjustment rod counter clockwise about 1.5-2 turns.

After six months, I think that you would have known by now if it was not fully engaging/disengaging.

You don't want it to be grabbing so close to the floor. You risk destroying your synchros since the disc may drag at high rpm. But yes, it's perfectly normal for immediate engagement of puck discs both sprung or unsprung. The fewer pucks you have, the harsher it becomes.

Put the car in gear, sit on flat ground. clutch in and rev up to 4-5k and see if it moves forward.

It's not the disengagement I'm worried about, rather if it's grabbing 100%. I want to know if it's putting all of my power to the ground. I kinda hear a wear kinda sliding sound sometimes when I'm at a dead stop and start to engage the clutch. Is this normal? I guess it sounds like it's slightly slipping as Im letting the clutch up but other then that moment driving is fine.
