Flywheel dowels don't line up with clutch holes
I have a weird problem. I bought a competition clutch stage 2 kit and got my stock flywheel resurfaced. I put the flywheel on. I put the disc on. I put the pressure plate on. I tried for 15mins and no matter what orientation I tried the dowlels in the flywheel wouldn't line up with the pressure plate. In hindsight I was stupid and figured they didn't need to go in the hole. I drove for 500 miles no problem. At 525 miles I got on it. The clutch slipped and I was angry.
Today I was seeing if there was anything I could do without dropping the tranny again and I found this:
Is there anything I can do without taking the transmission out again? Maybe the guy who resurfaced the flywheel put the pins back in the wrong spot?
I can't believe this, I was so patient with everything and I missed this one, super important thing.

If the parts didn't line up, then you got the wrong parts. Don't know about the slippage, or damage to the parts. Without using the dowels, proper balance is lost and you risk bearing wear at the very least.
