Stay around 22 psi to be safe , also if you running this much try to get some higher octane fule to help prevent detonation. The highest ive pushed mine was about 21.5 on my greddy boost controller. I would not recommend much higher without doing any other mods.

OK. My brother hit 1.6 bar wich is 23.2 psi with no problems. But now he keeps it at 1.35-1.4 bar wich is 19.5-20.3 psi on 93 octane fuel, now the question is... Is it safe for the engine to hold that much? the ONLY aftermarket parts are RMR intake and Grounding Kit... and of course GFB MBC. and one more thing... The MBC makes a hissing noise, i've determined the hiss comes from the MBC, not the Vaccum lines, Is that normal for the GFB MBC or is it a bad one?

Thanx

MBC almost all have a small bleeder hole.

20 PSI is fine.

I know you must be speaking of the stock turbo? because to ask what PSI is not a good clarification concidering CFM is important not boost pressure.
But i will concur that 30 psi sounds reasonable given the strength of the motor in stock form

i would have to say that 30 sounds a bit high for any stock motor, however; for the 4g63 it's probably very possible. i myself would be a little hesitant (s/p?) to run that high. what's the highest anyone has run a stock "4g63 MOTOR" reguardless of what mods were done?

28 for me. But the car was making about the same power as it did at 24. I would think that PROPERLY tuned at 28 psi I would have blown something. nevertheless, It can do it. I think its more a function of power rather then boost. 500 whp at 22 or 30 will prolly do the trick, no problem.

yeah i know what you mean. 26 was hi boost for my car i tryed 28 psi but it felt like it was actually dropping off faster and it started to cut around 7,000 so i just backed it off and kept it at 26.
