Some related questions, mostly for my curiousity, but relevant to the topic. For those that have sonic checked a 4G63:

what is the approx cyl wall thickness at standard bore?

typical core shift range? or maybe just include this with a range of std wall thickness

what wall thickness do you consider a minimum?

I'm curious if a 4G63 has thicker cyl walls than old school US cast iron V8s, and what people feel is safe.
