Sign of clutch going out?

I drove for 5 min and on my way to work. There is two drivers on both lanes going 45 on a 45 zone. I need to get to work so when the opportunity comes, I switch lane and gunned the gas paddle. It seem the clutch doesn't bite and after a few seconds, I can smell clutch burnt. Any ideas? I'm currently on stock clutch and it's 50K miles now. Boost is around 15psi

It's done....time for a new one. You are good to make it last 50K especially with your mods.

if the clutch is engaged (foot off the pedal), you get into boost or on the throttle, if the revs go up but you do not increase speed you need a new clutch.

I'll try that again after work. Look like I'm going to need new clutch soon. What is a good clutch that is good for up to 400 whp but is not twin disc type?

Yep, clutch is going out for sure. I'm going to drive like this until spring time. I thinking about getting Clutch Master Stage 3. I heard too many stories of twin disc clutches going bad plus it's expensive too.

Good luck with having it last that long...when they go it doesn't take long. I wouldn't waste money on any single disc. Exedy twin and call it a day.
