About e-85, like i said, it will be an ultimate PITA to try and get two tunes, one for winter e-70 and one for real e-85. I guess I could just get an e-70 tune but that leaves a lot of power on the table. It's much easier to get a 93 octane and a meth tune and then hook up my fail safe to do a map switch.

I would prefer to use e-85 personally, but unless I am missing something it seems like I'll be paying double to get tuned at worst.
Injectors we sell for 300.00 and If you keep your eyes open i buy IX turbos for 350.00 on here often.. thats 650.00..

much appreciated, replied.

Mike may have me spending a bit more than planned, but I should be able to tip over the 400whp mark with a 9 turbo and new fueling.

id personally try changing the fuel to e85 that way you can knock that off your list when you go to upgrade your turbo...

best advice out here... yes you will make power, but why retune if your ultimate goal is 500-600 hp? Nothing good comes to those who take the cheap route to power..

Better to build it right than build it twice or thrice...

No, injectors are not exactly $400ish. You can get a good set at least 1000cc from Mike at AWD for $300ish. I'll get mine from him shortly once I get settle with my new clutch installs, boost leak test and tune to see if I get close to my goal without going E85. Eventually E85 will be my next mod.

OOPs I didn't finish reading the thread. But thumbs up for Mike at AWD for awesome injectors. I got my 880cc from him.

I don't really see it as the cheap route when I am buying parts that I need for that goal. Injectors I am looking at 1200's which will support my goals on e85 and a bigger turbo, 9 turbo I need to upgrade to a red or black, these Brian Crower cams are waaaaay too small.

The only double cost is a tune, which in the grand scheme of things isn't terrible.

save or buy parts now and hold on to them till you get the turbo cams injectors ported parts then go install and tune that way you only have to do it once
