2- step issue?

Hey finally got my evo yesterday. I always thought that the clutch had to be engaged and in gear in order for the launch control to work, but apparently mine works in neutral with the clutch not engaged. Is this normal?? thanks

no the 2-step is only supposed to work when at a stand still, clutch in and in 1st gear..

mine works without engaging the clutch, but it MUST be completely still, if it's moving 0.000001 miles then it doesn't work
