Nisei fmic

Hello all, was wondering what the general concensus was on the NISEI FMIC. I did some seaches, but most of them were 2005-2007. During those times it was a highly regarded FMIC, then post about them dropped off the radar. I found that I can get a 3.7in for about 600.00 thats with cast end tanks. So what do you guys think?

I've heard it's a great product, but you need to dial up the boost to take advantage of it. Want to sell me your CBRD FMIC?

Love my competition due to the way it fills the grill and the massive amount of engineering behind the core. Barely any extra lag due to extra cooling tubes and it doesn't heat soak anymore in 100+ heat here in Texas.

CBRD produces excellent products no doubt but the nisei is at 500-600 shipped brand new right now from nisei vendors on this forum.

Oh, nevermind then. I agree with you though. I'm going to see if I can find a quality used one of your intercoolers for a good deal, but if not by May, I'll be in touch.

The Nisei core is great and their cast end-tanks are beautiful. When I was shopping for a FMIC cast end-tanks were a definite must-have for me.

i ran one for a while - it was nice and fit well but the downside for me it was REALLY heavy.

After I went to E85 i went back to the much lighter stock intercooler - didn't feel it was really needed and used the money from it for 60k mile service

To the OP, you can't go wrong either way. Just depends on how much money you want to spend in the end.

I run a nisei core. Works great and I never had an issue with it. I feel it's the best out there and the price us good too. Also I feel cast end tanks are much better then fab'ed end tanks
