head is on but Had to get order a few front cover bolts and a sprocket from mitsu. Hopefully have pics later this week of motor all together then its non stop until its done.
Received my shearer downpipe end of last week.
Going to make my clutch pedal stop tomorrow.
Trying to figure out the thread on the oil feed from the head so i can use a straight fitting instead of banjo bolt.(if anyone knows feel free to chime in)

Awesome build! Reminds me of my build I recently finished, its an exciting and nerve racking time, but in the end you'll be happy you did it. Looks like youll finish it up intime for the season. What track do you run at?
E85 is def the way to go. Im tuned for e85 and 93 but ive never put the **** 93 in my car since its been done. Hahahaha! GL

creamo3... the reason for doing a surge tank is for track purpose. My info came directly from mike at awd.
On the dyno and highway double pump will do just fine because its not seeing the force from launching. If you have 1/4 tank of gas with double pumper and needing that much fuel you can POSSIBLY get starvation and cause break up. Using a surge tank thats 1 gallon in size you wont have this issue.
Im not saying its impossible to use the double pump and ID2000 setup, it would just be a better setup with surge tank and would have cost me about the same. In fact STM doesn't run a surge tank and haven't had any issues.
setting it up with external and surge tank to me is just a better all around design to accommodate whatever i want to do..
