Need input on Kelford 280/280 cams

Just wanted to get some opinions before I actually install these cams. I'm currently having a head ported and upgrading to better springs. I'd like to see 9000+ RPM to get more peak power. Car is mainly used for drag racing but I still like to drive it on the street. I realize the idle and lower RPM will suffer a little. I'm a little worried about piston to valve clearance so that will be closely checked.

Kelford Cams Specs:
Intake:
Duration at advertised - 280
Duration at .050" - 206
Lift - 11.5mm
Centerline at full lift - 107
Exhaust:
Duration at advertised - 280
Duration at .050" - 206
Lift - 11.5mm
Centerline at full lift - 117

Head:
CNC ported Evo 8 head
SuperTech +1mm In. / Ex. valves
Kiggley beehive springs
Kiggley titanium retainers
Kiggley oil pressure regulator (in head)

The head flows 298cfm intake, 285 exhaust. When you compare it with the stock head, it flows 33% more intake, 28% exhaust on the same flow dyno.

Other engine mods:
-Forged CP pistons 9:1
-Brian Crower rods
-ARP L-19 head studs
-Full race T3 manifold
-FP 3586 HTA T3 turbo .82
-Tial 44 mm waste gate
-Full race 3" o2/ downpipe
-3" exhaust
-Turbo XS FMIC
-Tial 50mm b.o.v.
-Magnus V5 intake mani
-Boomba 75mm TB
-Aeromotive fuel rail
-Aeromotive FPR
-PT 1600cc injectors (soon to be FIC 2150)
-Buschur Racing Double pumper
-Twin fuel lines into -8AN
-Buschur COP
-Dynatek ARC-2
-AEM EMS

Has the head been decked or the block? Verify the amount before install.

I am running kelford 272 with my 35r and im making plenty of power with the 272. I have thought about switching to the 280's but I don't want to lose any power down low

Block no, brand new Mits block with 4k miles. The head getting ported is a used core and is getting decked .005. I have CP pistons which are suppose to give you more valve relief area for higher lift and 1mm valves. I'll be double checking.

How much power are you making?
