Could you link me to the test results with our O2 dump? I wasn't aware you had even tested it

I have your o2 housing on my car so don't attempt to tell me its something that it isn't. It is a very nice piece and I really like the silver ceramic coating you use and it seems extremely durable, but inside and out its near identical to the Megan (minus the badge). I've installed numerous Megans and Buschurs and looked them all over very closely. You're selling a Chinese eBay part just like your Vibrant intake air filter, only these o2 housings are actually a quality piece. Even in all your o2 housing testing from years ago you say its the Chinese eBay o2 housing. Its also not new news that the majority of Megan parts are just badged Chinese parts generally sold on eBay. I'm not sure who you're trying to fool here since this is all info you've made public...

P.S. Didn't you quit EvoM and swear you were done with it and would never return? Pretty sure I read a bunch of posts like that over on your board.

Just think, if those fellas over at AWD Motorsports took their power robbing O2 dump off their FP Black maybe they could actually make some real power with track times to back it up.......

I too would like to see that data comparing the internally recirculated o2 housings vs. the dumps. I'm not a fan of external dumps at all since I think they obnoxious and always assumed the claimed power gains were bogus, but I didn't expect them to actually lose power.

For clarification, I'm not calling any of the o2 housings/dumps on the market junk, I just saying I favor the internally routed option (which some have; at least MAP's) or the more traditional o2 housing style such as the Megan or Buschur.

True 3" 02 Housing and 2.25 external dump.

I honestly think 02 dumps are the way to go only if you have a good product. Currently the Shearer 3" 02 dump is the only 02 dump on the market that I would run/purchase for my car. I have one that R/TErnie custom made me before Shearer came out with the one they have now. It is a direct replica of the one I have. However, I believe they use a 2" dump and I use a 2.25" tear dropped dump. We also used the JFM flange which is the same one that Shearer chose to use for their dump. It allows the flapper to fully open eliminating boost creep and the cnc work on the flange reduces the wastegate turbulence after the flapper mouth.

As for what Dave said about 02 dumps not making power, I think the right one does! I have a moderate build with an unported 84mm FP Red, and small HKS cams and I make 535/438 on 29psi. I popped 30.1psi on one cell but the rest of the run was 29.5psi. I am making more power than most of FP Black cars on the stock motor at the same boost level. I honestly can't tell you why my car makes the power it does but I believe it is my external dump, PERIOD. There are not really any other cars near my power on 30psi and my mods. I really think the dump opened up my Red. But what do I know. I don't own a shop or a 1000hp drag car.

If you care to look at my 02 dump, here are some pics and below is the link to my dyno.

Only get an 02 housing once. Get the best...

Have you taken WORKS 02 housing into consideration as you already have their exhaust system?

With all do respect, the WORKS O2 housing is an overpriced, underperforming paperweight.

I am curious as to how some other tuners/shops feel about this o2 housing dilemma. I love how a dumped external gate sounds/performs. But I hate how a dumped o2 housing sounds. But I run the epm as the power claims appeal to me.

I can't seem to tell much of a difference.. 35r is not as loud as my car. I'm running more boost and have more power.
