12,300 miles.

8300 frequently, 8700 once or twice. That was nothing I didnt do to the stock valvesprings which got pulled at 28k for these. I am very happy it didnt end up sucking a valve, the springs just suck. This was the only broken one, the rest were severely sagged out. To this day BC denies there was any issue and any warranty.

For 8500-8700 I recommend GSC or FP beehives, beyond that Kigglys.

I dunno I thought Supertech duals were pretty good, Kiggly's I also hear are good. Might want to stay away from BC's

Why risk it you get what you pay for! The GSC springs are suppose to perform well from what I heard. I never hear anything positive from BC products.

I bought them years ago and they have been in my car for over 60k now. Some of the parts avail today were not even on the market yet.

I'll go with something higher end once the engine is built

These are the only springs other than stock (DSM not Evo) I have ever had break. The thing is use at your own risk though obviously. Even if they had warrantied them after a break would you put them back in? What if it had sucked a valve, I know who pays for that. i have pulled them out of pretty much all our customers cars since I dont trust them anymore.

The long list of fail from that company really leads me to think that if you cant trust a stroker assembly, cams, or valvesprings, its probably best to look to known good products for the Evo.

Maybe the BC stuff works better in non-Mitsus?

GSC and the FP Beehives reuse the stock retainers so it keeps the price down.

The picture posted is a CROWER spring and retainer not a BC.
