GSC S3 for IX on 6262 setup

I bought a set of GSC S3 cams for a great price. These will be going on my Evo IX with a 6262 setup. Curious on people's thoughts of these...

I'm pretty sure you're going to need a set of solid lifters to use those cams. You'll also need a set of valve springs and retainers at the very least. I'm also pretty sure you're going to need a bit more compression and ability to rev to really get what you need out of them. Are you building your block?

i asked greg@gsc about them. on a setup like that they will make 10-20hp over the s2's and lose power on the bottom and catch up only after 5,500-6,000rpm or so. to me its not worth the losses to only see 10-20hp up top.
